Strain This Chaos

Turn It Into Light

Sing-Off

The Dartmouth Aires killed it on “The Sing-Off.”

Found this awesome football special section.

Crafts

I bought the cutest sweater (but bright coral) from the Gap. Best part: it rang up cheaper than marked.

Made two crafts: versions of this and this. Tiger does not cooperate well with crafts.

Boots, free stuff

Went boot shopping with Sarah. Alex bought me this pair.

Got called into work. Overtime ($$)!

Went to Rock Bottom. Got two free appetizers and two free (and delicious) drinks.

Dinner

Alex and I ate dinner with my mom’s family to celebrate my aunt’s birthday and my uncle’s birthday. It was fun, but I ate too much.

Coffee

The Starbucks at 15th and Douglas is the best in town because of its amazing baristas. Kenny offered me a free bag of coffee.

Gosling, among other things

People named Bradley Cooper its “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2011. Big mistake. Big. Huge. 63 reasons why.

Alex and I went Blanc for dinner. Some old men were rude and – in essence – called him a caveman. On the receipt for the bill, I wrote, “You’re the most handsome ‘caveman’ I know.”

Rain

I wrote my “Rain” review for the Nov. 17 Arts & Entertainment section. I’m proud of this one (for now).

Bail me out

I started raising “bail” money for Muscular Dystrophy Association. Donate here.

City and Colour

Alex and I saw City and Colour at Slowdown with Sarah. C&C was better the first time we saw them (at the Waiting Room, circa 2009). It was nice to walk home after the concert.

Busy day

I went to a lia sophia jewelry party at my aunt Pam’s house. Her egg casseroles are killer. I went to Mike’s house after to watch football. My poor nephew (Grannt) busted open his lip the night before. He had 18 stitches inside his mouth and around his lip. Alex and I went to dinner at Hiro 88 with Morgan and watched “Saturday Night Live” with Emma Stone and Coldplay to cap off the night.
